Do you keep getting recurring injury niggles?  Or despite your best efforts with exercise classes or gym workouts, you still feel stiffer and weaker than ever before

Well, it's most likely because of the modern world we now live in.

Everything nowadays is centred around looking at devices, a far cry to how our ancestors used to live.

Not only are we sitting more than ever but we're constantly subjected to inefficient and unhealthy movement patterns and postures which literally strain, drain and pain our bodies!

So it’s no surprise we are stiffer, weaker and living with more pain than ever.

But it doesn’t have to be this way which is great news when when we know how important it is to keep moving during perimenopause and beyond.

However, this week's guest, Physiotherapist Rachel Kili, has found a way to counteract the impact of our modern lives on our bodies.

Rachel firmly believes that  learning how to move like our ancestors did is the answer to moving away from pain and stiffness.

Rachel’s experience as a physiotherapist (since 1989), along with her work during her Masters degree in Sports Science led her to realise that in order to achieve long term health benefits, we have to connect how we treat our body with how our body responds and feels.

And now Rachel has developed Simply Move, a comprehensive programme highlighting her key principles for success which give a fresh perspective on how to move and align your whole body.

Join us in this conversation where we talk about:

🎙️How our modern world is designed for us not to move
🎙️ How human evolution is key to staying strong, flexible and pain free
🎙️ The lessons we can learn from our ancestors who moved in multiple ways throughout their daily lives.
🎙️How to move away from pain, stiffness and recurring injury.
🎙️What it means to move intuitively
🎙️ How connecting mind and body makes movement  easier
🎙️ Rachel’s own experience of menopause
🎙️ The importance of maintaining strength as we age
